Come and explore the C-58 or C-55 shipwrecks. You will be accompanied by our PADI certified staff to these advanced locations. From January to March, join us and encounter the schools of eagle rays that migrate through this area of Mexico. The south point of the island offers a unique drift dive that can be done throughout the year. At this dive site, you may come across large barracudas, dolphins, reef sharks and rays. Turtle mating season is a must see from May to August. Punta Negra is another drift dive where current reaches 3 to 4 knots speed and carries you throughout a beautiful reef witch holds a large number of species including turtles, angel fish, lobsters, sting rays between others.. Scuba diving is a quick and easy-to-understand activity. Your instructor will start by teaching you a few essential skills in shallow water. Once you master those skills and feel comfortable, you will then make your dives accompanied by your instructor. Isla Mujeres offers different easy diving locations all just a few minutes from the island. Within the National Marine park, you may choose to explore the Manchones Reef where sea life is abundant. Manchones Reef also holds the world renowned Underwater Museum, MUSA, a collection of more than 500 human sized sculptures that were created with the intention to protect the reef and stimulate coral growth. The museum is also called the Silent Evolution due its eventual transformation into a complete self sustaining reef ecosystem in the near future.     About Night Diving Night diving is a type of recreational diving which takes place at dusk or in total darkness. The diver can experience a different underwater environment at night because many marine animals are nocturnal. Night dives are special because even a familiar site looks different at night. When you make a day dive, you normally scan the entire dive site looking at your surroundings. At night, you see only the area of the dive site that is lit by your light. This forces you to slow down and concentrate on that one area. Night dives in Isla Mujeres are generally done on Manchones Reef. This is a shallow reef full of sea turtles, sleeping Parrotfish, Octopus, Squid, Sea Urchins, Basket Sea Stars, and many other nighttime creatures!
